5 key things to watch out for ahead of Chelsea's clash with Liverpool

- Liverpool will host PL giants Chelsea on Saturday, November 25.

- The Reds will be looking to produce a better defensive show after Tuesday's disappointing draw against Sevilla .

- Chelsea, on the other end have begun building some momentum as they look to defend the EPL title.

Reigning English Premier League champions Chelsea travel away to Anfield as they face Liverpool during match-day 13.

The two teams are separated with just three points, with Chelsea ranking third on the log with 25 points.

trendsKenya takes a closer look at five talking points ahead of the Anfield clash.

1. Will Chelsea continue their winning streak?

It is without doubt that one of the key things that catapulted Chelsea to EPL championship was their 13-game winning streak that begun in October, making them as title favorites.

The impressive run was, however, brought to a halt in January by PL giants Tottenham Hotspurs.

A win against Liverpool will see The Blues record five victories in succession, including their much-deserved 1-0 win against Manchester United.

2. Liverpool's woeful and 'leaky' defense

It goes without saying that Liverpool have one of the best attacks this season in Europe but the most woeful defense.

The Reds surrendered a 3-0 lead to draw against Spanish side Sevilla on Tuesday, November 21 during their Champions League clash.

Be that as it may, Liverpool's defensive weaknesses are just the same old thing new.

Back in August, the Jurgen Klopp side drew 3-3 with Watford in the Premier League leaving many thinking about whether that would be the same, old story this season.

However, that, more than ever before appears to be the case.

It remains to be seen if they will keep a clean sheet against one of the most impressive sides in front of goal in the EPL.

3. Chelsea's dynamic duo

It has been said that league pacesetters Manchester City has one of the most lethal attacking force this season in the EPL. When Sergio Aguero is out, Gabriel Jesus has always stepped up to finish the job. The same is replicated by star forward Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane.

But Chelsea currently prides itself with one of the best attacking forwards - Eden Hazard and new-signing Alvaro Morata.

The pair has been thrilling in front of goal, tearing apart teams both in the domestic league and the Champions League.

Antonio Conte will be hoping the two continues their fine run.

4. Battle royale in the midfield.

The two sides have their games built around midfield.

Both Conte and Klopp understand that this fixture will be won or lost in the center of the pitch.

As for Conte, he has found some level of confidence in his 3-5-2 formation, which is a slight change to the 3-4-3 that he utilized last season.

N'Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakoyoko and Cesc Fabregas are set to start in the mid, as Conte looks to overrun the Reds in the midfield.

As for Liverpool, it is likely that Philipe Coutinho will be handed a free role in this match.

5. Will Salah remind Chelsea his worth?

While Chelsea will be heavily relying on Hazard and Morata for goals, Liverpool will be hoping that their summer-signing Mohamed Salah continues his splendid form.

The Egyptian signed for Liverpool from Roma for £34million and has since netted 9 times in 12 appearances for The Reds.

Chelsea sold Salah to Roma for £12m and his current form has left many stunned, with Chelsea star Hazard conceding that the striker was not given a chance to give his best at Stamford Bridge.

Could Salah use this opportunity to prove wrong his Chelsea critics...................??
